  • Please note that the thesis/dissertation title on the “Final Thesis/Dissertation Review Form” must be the same as the title in the repository system! If it is not, please update the title in Online Application System of the Graduate Degree Oral Defense before finishing your review process. (log in from Academic Information System); once your review process is completed, please apply for thesis errata application.

The library staff will check the thesis/dissertation within two business days, then send the audit notice via email (Approved or Disapproved), no expedited review service is available. The peak period for uploading theses is often 2 weeks before the start of each semester, so please plan ahead to avoid delays in your graduation process.

After uploading the thesis, if you want to correct the file:

  • If the paper has not yet been sent to the professor for review, please click “Temp Save” and go back to the previous step to make adjustments.
  • If the system shows “Under Advisor Review”, please ask your advisor to select “Not Approved” to return the submission so you can re-upload the file.

  2. Please follow the cover format. The cover of the master's thesis should be beige, and the cover of the doctoral thesis should be light blue. Lossy laminated softcover binding is required.
  3. Please follow the spine format. The spine of the printed thesis shall indicate the “academic year” in which the student officially completes the graduation and departure procedures.

The supporting documents must include: (1) justification for the embargo request, and (2) potential implications of immediate open access, and bear the signatures of both the thesis author and faculty advisor. Please see the instructions in Step-by-Step Guide to Submitting Your Thesis or Dissertation.
