No. Only current NTHU faculty, staff, and students are eligible for remote access to licensed e-resources in accordance with licensing agreements.

Alumni and other patrons are welcome to visit the Library to access e-resources using public computers.

No, databases and e-journals subscribed individually by each UST university are not shared across institutions. If you find that National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University provides an e-journal you need, you must access it on that university's campus.

All current NTHU faculty, staff, and students are eligible for off-campus access to electronic resources.

To access databases remotely, please enter your Library account username and password on the electronic resources authentication page.

If you encounter any login issues, please contact the Circulation Desk of the Main Library.

Please note that some databases require access via the University's VPN or separate registration for off-campus use. For details, please refer to the descriptions of individual databases in the Library Catalog.

Please refer to the webpage “Using Google Scholar to Access the Library's Electronic Full Text” for detailed instructions.

Please E-mail us at database@my.nthu.edu.tw with your name, student ID number, department, and the name of the database you applied for. We will verify the information and respond to you accordingly.

As more database vendors provide integrated search platforms that include e-books, conference papers, and e-journals, the Library is unable to subscribe to all full-text content due to budget limitations. Therefore, if the requested material is not within the Library's subscription coverage, a login prompt may appear.

If the material you require is an e-journal article, please first confirm whether the Library subscribes to the full text for the year you need. If the requested content falls within the Library's subscription coverage, please E-mail us with your name, student ID number, department, as well as the journal title, article title, volume, issue, and page numbers. We will verify the information and respond accordingly.

If the requested material is not covered by the Library's subscriptions, you may obtain it through the Interlibrary Loan Service (NDDS or RapidILL).
