NTHU faculty, staff and students (including part-time teachers, visiting professors, and Emeritus professors) can borrow an interlibrary card at the Circulation Desk in the Main Library with an ID.
Every eligible user can borrow up to three different Interlibrary Cards (from different schools). Each card has a loan period of 60 days. Renewals and reservations are allowed. There are unlimited renewals with a loan period up to 120 days. The overdue charge for each Interlibrary Card is NT$5 per day.
The loss of an Interlibrary Card must be reported to the Circulation Desk and the user is liable to pay compensation for the loss.
To borrow or return materials from other libraries or organizations, users are required to pay a visit in person. Presentation of the interlibrary card is not mandatory upon book returns.
Materials requested from other libraries are subject to the lending library's rules and regulations.
For more information about the cooperative library list, please contact the Circulation Desk, or call us at the campus extension 42997 or 42996.
