Springer Nature actively promotes open science by offering a wide range of open access (OA) journals and book publishing options across the fields of natural sciences, technology, medicine, humanities, and social sciences.
Beginning in 2025, NTHU has entered into a transformative agreement with Springer Nature. NTHU-affiliated researchers can publish their works in Springer Nature’s hybrid journals without paying Article Processing Charge (APC), in addition to accessing over 2,300 electronic journals under this agreement. Specifically, the APC waiver covers 55 articles in 2025, 56 articles in 2026, and 57 articles in 2027.
The waiver will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the order of accepted submissions. We encourage all university researchers to take advantage of this opportunity!
APC Discount Requirements
- Qualification: The corresponding author of the journal paper must be affiliated with National Tsinghua University.
- Application conditions
- Select an Open Access (OA) license when submitting to Springer Nature hybrid journals.
- Choose National Tsing Hua University as the affiliated institution.
