Quick Guide for NTHU Faculty: "Signing into the New Platform"

  1. Step 1. Sign In
    Go to the platform homepage ➔ Click「Sign in」 in the top right corner ➔ Log in with your Library credentials ➔ Click your profile picture icon in the top right corner ➔ Select "Your profile" to view.
  2. Step 2. Edit & Settings
    Click "Edit profile" to confirm and update your personal information, research interests, research outputs, services, and activities.

Time-Saving Synchronization: ORCID Integration Now Available

Once logged into the new platform, you can enable the integration feature. The system will automatically and periodically import your public, DOI-assigned academic publications from ORCID, saving you the hassle of manual entry. For detailed instructions:

Editing Your Researcher Profile

To edit your NTHU Scholars researcher profile: How-to Video

  • Login to NTHU Scholoars
  • Click Edit Profile → Choose the section and field you wish to edit
  • Default Public: Biography and Research Outputs.
  • Default Hidden: Research Projects, Teaching, Services, etc.(You can check specific items to change them to "Visible").

Note: Certain aspects of your researcher profile such as your name, title, affiliation, and contact information are automatically populated from the university directory.

Proxy Settings (Authorize an Assistant for Profile Maintenance)

A Researcher Proxy is someone you appoint to deposit works and manage your NTHU Scholars researcher profile on your behalf.

Your proxy may be a colleague, student, or administrative assistant.

  • Set up online by yourself:
    All proxies must possess a Library System login account (Employee ID or Student ID) and use the email address currently registered within the system.
  • Set up by the Library:
    Please Email the proxy's (1) Name and (2) Personnel ID to nthuscholars@my.nthu.edu.tw.
