BioMed Central (BMC) is a publisher of open-access journals which produces over 300 electronic journals covering the fields of biology and medicine. BMC supports NTHU-affiliated researchers can publish their works in OA journals of BioMed Central and SpringerOpen with a 15% discount on Article Processing Charge (APC) .

APC Discount Requirements

• Qualification: The corresponding author of the journal paper must be affiliated with National Tsinghua University.
• Application Conditions
  1. Please use the NTHU email address and select the institution as National Tsinghua University within the IP range of the NTHU campus while submitting your work.
  2. If you submit a manuscript from an IP outside the campus, please use the NTHU-VPN service to adjust the IP address to an on-campus address.
