The opening times for the Moonlight Study Area is everyday from 17pm to 9am (the next day). The Moonlight Study Area is closed on National holidays and voting day.
Only NTHU staff and students may use the Moonlight Study Area.
Reserve a Moonlight Study space through the iBooking system.
The Moonlight Study Area reserves some spaces for reservations on the day.
Patrons may reserve seats up to 14 days. To change seats, the patron has to log into the iBooking system. One ID can only reserve one space at a time (including discussion rooms, media viewing rooms, moonlight study area, and computer labs).
Patrons should enter the area by card. Patrons should cancel 30 minutes prior if they are unable to check in during the reservation period.
If the reserved seats are not activated within 15 minutes, the system will automatically cancel the reservations and release the seats to others.
The unit of reservation time is 30 minutes. The maximum reserving time is 8 hours.
Patrons leaving the area should tap their cards upon exiting. The system will save the seat for 30 minutes when the patron leaves (during eating hours: 6am-9am, 11am-14pm, 17pm to 20pm for 1 hour). The patron may continue their use after they tap their card s again at the entrance within 30 minutes or 1 hour of leaving. If the patron is late, the system will release the seat.
Patrons that fail to activate their session up to 3 times within 30 days will be suspended for 30 days.
Patrons are responsible for the safekeeping of their belongings and for making sure all of the belongings are brought out after their session ends.
