讀者服務與資訊資源

本計畫是以建立對資訊行為、讀者服務以及資訊資源提供研究有價值的館藏為目標。「知識與服務的創新」向來是臺灣科技界的強項，也是一項重要的議題。清華大學身為臺灣頂尖大學之一，不僅是桃竹苗地區醫院及教育機構的知識供應樞紐，更應負起傳播知識、培育英才及引領全國研發前瞻性技術的責任。因此本校圖書館設置了功能完善的借還書系統網絡（如全國文獻傳遞服務系統、臺聯大代借代還系統等），相信將可提昇相關計畫圖書的借閱率。

國立清華大學總圖書館所在的旺宏館，是由教育部補助及科學園區企業家吳敏求董事長捐資所共同興建，2013 年3 月以新穎的環境提供服務，空間規劃以讀者為優先，並因應群體學習與社群活動的趨勢，設有開放學習共享區及符合多元化需求的視聽服務，另搭配RFID 智慧型圖書管理系統及整合式空間管理系統，提供貼心的讀者服務，更積極追求人力資源、電力空調的有效節約。但再新穎、貼心的軟硬體服務，終有淘汰過時之虞，本計畫希望透過蒐集通訊與資訊應用、新的學習模式、數位內容的檢索技術，以及環境健康教育、心理諮商等主題之研究用書，提供各界學者、教育者、研發人員、輔導人員、圖資人員等切合當代讀者需求的圖書資訊服務，進而追求日益精進的「知識與服務創新」。

This project aims to collect valuable research materials of information behavior, readers’ services, and information resources. It also helps our university become the knowledge hub. In addition, we set up well functioned Interlibrary Loan Systems, such as UST (University System of Taiwan) Loan System. It will increase the rates of borrowing in the collection of this acquisition project.

“Knowledge and service innovation” is one of the key skills of Taiwan industry no matter what kinds of changes and difficulties are around the world. Being one of the top universities in Taiwan, our university should take the responsibilities for transmitting knowledge, training students, developing technology, and guiding our nation.
