  1. Assistants, visiting scholars, part-time teachers, post-doctorate researchers, and temporary guest lecturers: When applying for a library card, you must provide information of a guarantor as well as a copy of your offer of employment.
  2. Temporary researchers: You must submit two one-inch headshot photos and bring your national ID card.
  3. Graduating research students: You should bring your national ID card and submit the application bearing the seal of the admissions office. Your library card will be valid until Sep. 20 of the current year.
  4. Alumni: You can apply through the alumni association. If not applied through the alumni association, you should contact a person who belongs to your department¡¦s alumni association or an employee or member of the university faculty. When applying, you should bring your national ID card and submit two one-inch recent headshot photos, a photocopy of your diploma, and an annual fee of NT$500.
  5. Dependents: Application is restricted to the spouse and direct family of the University¡¦s employees and faculty. When applying, you should submit two recent one-inch headshot photos and a handling fee of NT$100. In addition, you should bring your student ID card, employee ID card, dependent¡¦s national ID card or another document that proves your identity (for example, a copy of your household registration). For employees outside of the university employment system, you should have your supervisor (advisor) act as your guarantor as well as personal contact.
