The Computer Lab I Area is particularly for NTHU students, faculty, staff, alumni (with borrowing privileges) and new graduate students.
There are 45 computers (two Apple iMacs) with on-campus licensed software available to eligible users. Here, users can search for electronic resources or to collaborate with peers for work. For reservations in advance (within 14 days), please refer to the iBooking (Space Booking System) on Library’s website. For immediate reservation, please refer to the KIOSK.
Patrons must comply with Regulations of Computer Lab I in all respects.
Patrons can reserve seats within the next following 14 days. Each valid ID card can only be used to reserve one type of space (which including Discussion Rooms, Media Viewing Rooms, Moonlighting Area, Computer Lab I Area and Language Learning Rooms) at any given time period. (i.e., no reservations for two spaces at the same time)
The reservation should be activated with the valid ID card. If the seat is no longer in need, please cancel the reservation 30 minutes before the reserved time.
If the reserved seats are not activated with 15 minutes, the system would cancel the reservation and release the seats for other people.
During the reserved time, if patrons leave their seats for more than 15 minutes, the system would cancel the reservation and release the seats for other people.
If the reservation is not properly activated for 3 times within 30 days, the reservation right of the patron would be suspended for 30 days.
The iBooking system is only accessible from the NTHU Network. For off-campus access, please use VPN.
