Applying for photocopies of Oriental and Western language periodicals in Taiwan and abroad through the Nationwide Document Delivery Service
There are more than 460 participating libraries in the Nationwide Document Delivery Service. If a material is not in the Library¡¦s collection, faculty, staff and students of the University and other users with a valid library card can use the Nationwide Document Delivery Service to borrow or request photocopies of the material from participating libraries. New users should first apply for an account number and a password.

Inter-library loan system of the University System of Taiwan
This is a free service for the National Tsing Hua University students and employees within the university employment system. You can use the Library Online Catalog to access the catalog of a participating institute and find out if a material is available for loan. Then go to the University System of Taiwan¡¦s website to fill out an online request to borrow the material from the relevant institute. After receiving a notification email, you can collect the material from the circulation desk on the 1st floor of the Main Library. If you do not collect the material before the deadline specified in the notification, the material will be returned to the lending institution. If you fail to collect a material twice, your interlibrary loan privilege will be suspended for six months. Peripheral materials included with books are not available for interlibrary loan.

Borrowing materials from other libraries
For students, faculty, and staff who are officially part of the University System of Taiwan, you can use your student ID card or employee badge to borrow materials from the libraries of the National Central University, National Chiao Tung University and National Yang Ming University. You can borrow 10 items for NCTU Library, and 5 items for NCU and NYMU Libraries each time for a period of 30 days.

Use your university ID card to borrow another university¡¦s library card at the circulation desk of the Main Library. There are more than 40 participating university libraries and the cards can be used to borrow materials.
