In January 2002, National Tsing Hua University and National Ciao Tung University Libraries have signed a contract with John, Wiley & Sons allowing library users to search and read 345 electronic journals offered through Wiley Interscience online. Currently, there are about 180 journals available for full-text access. NTHU Library users have access to 115 journals directly. For the rest, unsubscribed journals, users can only access the corresponding table of contents and abstracts.

However, for the convenience of NTHU students, faculty and staff, John Wiley & Sons providesArticle Select program to offer free download of up to 250 journal articles per year of the unsubscribed portion of Wiley Interscience Electronic Journals for full-text access and printing. We welcome you to use Article Select program to its full potential. However, due to the limited quota, each user can apply for up to five journal articles per month.

Please note that journals published before 1996 or listed below are not available in Article Select program:

Once the application is accepted, University Library will download the selected articles and provide electronic copies through e-mail. Users can also refer to the list of already downloaded Wiley Interscience articles and apply for the needed articles through e-mail. Please provide your name, department, student ID number, phone number and article number to fulfill your requests in this case.
