  2. If the ¡§ttslink¡¨ column appears in ¡§YES,¡¨ you must install the TTSLINK program on your computer before using the service. This database is not available for off-campus access.
  3. Please adhere to copyright regulations when using library resources: All electronic resources are licensed for the non-profit, educational use of the NationalTsingHuaUniversity. Usage of these resources is governed by copyright law and individual license agreements. Systematic downloading, photocopying, online-distributing, or retaining substantial portions of information is prohibited. Violators will face legal consequences with their library access rights revoked.

Setting up Off-campus Access

 

Due to access restrictions governed by resource purchase agreements, the service is restricted to the NationalTsingHuaUniversity faculty, researchers, students, staff, research assistants, and other authorized users. You must check the connection setting prior to accessing online library resources, as well as use a library card number and password for authorization verification.

 

You are responsible for the care of your own library user account and password for off-campus access, which must be used legally. If materials are used illegally, there may be serious legal consequences and you will loose your library privileges. If you do not have off-campus access privilege, you are welcomed to use the computers in the Library for database searches.

After completing setup, open a new Internet browser window and go to the electronic journal or database webpage provided by the online library service. Click on the full-text of the electronic journal or a single database of preference and a pop-up will appear. See below:

 

 

Enter your library card number and password and wait for verification. Once verified, you can begin accessing the electronic resources from outside of campus.
