

Library Automation System being Upgraded

Dear Patrons:
In order to offer patrons better quality of services and enhance the multi-function of using library resources, the Library will upgrade the automation system and switch all data to the new system from August 16 to August 20. During this period, some services of the Library would be affected, and details are as follows:
- A. From August 16 to August 20
- The due dates of returning items and picking up items on hold will not be affected.
- The online reserving and renewing items and the updating of personal records will
be temporarily halted.
- The borrow/return services will as usual with borrow item limit to 5 items for each patron per day per library. All other related services, such as renewal, reserve, overdue fine paying will be temporarily halted.
- The service of reserving audiovisual seats, group rooms, and discussing rooms will
be offered as usual. Graduates may proceed to the procedure of leaving school as usual.
- Interlibrary returning in NTHU will be temporarily halted.
- B. From August 12 to September 3
- UST (University System of Taiwan) Interlibrary borrowing service will be temporarily halted , however returning service will be offered as usual.
- C. After finishing the automation system upgrade, the patron's ID and Password will be changed when logging into the new system. Patrons will be informed the details by emails. Please mind the emails recently sent by the Library.
